A car accident occurred on Tuesday around 09:00 am on 'Mitropolit Teodosij Gologanov' boulevard near the old Alumina factory in Skopje. The incident happened when a Suzuki Swift and an Opel Astra car collided. Two people were injured in the accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicles were headed from the Skopje's downtown area toward Gjorce Petrov settlement when the Suzuki car driving at high speed hit the bumper of the Opel Astra car. There were tire marks on the street, which point to the fact that the car was speeding.
The force of the impact propelled the Opel Astra car to the opposite side of the boulevard.
The Sector of Internal Affairs - Skopje informs that the two injured people were transferred to Skopje's General Hospital 'September 8'.
The investigation for clearing up the accident is still ongoing.
