SDSM continues to manipulate and disturb the public in an attempt to gain petty political points on a daily basis using the problems the farmers are facing, without a little concern for them, according to the written response of the Food and Veterinary about Ljupco Nikolovski’s statement.

The response indicates that the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Food and Veterinary Agency are working hard and continuously to prevent the spread of the lumpy skin disease in cattle.

"Working in accordance with the protocols of RES-World Health Organization for Animal Health Protection all urgent and necessary physical and technical measures in terms of the isolation of sick animals, their non-harmful removal, erecting barriers for disinfection and the establishment of protection zones were immediately taken on and uncontrolled spread of disease was prevented", the FVA statement added.

After the disease appearing in a certain part of the country, the Food and Veterinary Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management timely took all necessary measures and managed to prevent the spread of the disease and to intervene, which is a sufficient proof that Macedonian institutions function professionally and in favor of farmers.

"The first intake of 50 thousand vaccines that were used in hotspots had an expected effect, and as of today preventive vaccination of all cattle on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia already begun with the promised and provided new 250 thousand doses of the vaccine", the FVA said.

FVA recommends the party SDSM instead of abusing the problems of farmers to offer a solution.

"SDSM in their time of power created only problems for the farmers, and apparently the practice to use them for daily political arguments while not offering any solutions is still used by them. We had an opportunity to see that the staff of SDSM did not care about farmers while they had a representative in the ministry", the FVA added.
