
Twenty-five artists from Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Russia take part at the 7.
Vevcani International Art Colony, held June 26 - July 10. This year's colony, organized by the owners of local restaurant "Via Ignatia", is dedicated to the recently passed doyen of Macedonian painting, Gligor Cemerski.
The opening of the art colony was attended by Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski and Deputy Minister of Culture Dragan Nedeljkovic.
In recent years, exhibits of paintings created at the colony have been held in New York, Podgorica, Sofia, Skopje and other Macedonian cities.
