President Gjorge Ivanov received Friday the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors of the Republic of Ecuador and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
At the meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador main office in Rome, Juan Fernando Holguín Flores, Ivanov underlined that despite the geographical distance, there is a common interest and potential for overall development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that bilateral political dialogue and cooperation, especially in the field of economy, culture and tourism will intensify in near future.
Ambassador Flores expressed his commitment on improvement of bilateral relations especially in the sphere of economy as well as current international issues and regional topics of mutual interest.
Ivanov at the meeting with Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan with main office in Ankara Sohail Mahmood expressed confidence that political dialogue and cooperation between the two countries will be intensified by mutual commitment in the forthcoming period.
I am deeply convinced that our countries which are characterized with rich and ancient cultural tradition will have many opportunities to boost both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, Ivanov said.
Ambassador Mahmood expressed preparedness for improvement of cooperation in several spheres of mutual interest especially in the sphere of trade exchange, scientific and technological cooperation.
President Ivanov congratulated the newly appointed Ambassadors and wished them success in exercising the diplomatic duties.
