The Civil Movement for Defense of Macedonia (CMDM) is calling on citizens to come to a public gathering Monday at 11:00 am in front of Skopje's Basic Court. They are of the opinion that lately the courts are making strange decisions and they deem that these decisions are not according to the law but made upon order.
"Let us gather and send a clear message encouraging the court: make decisions which serve the law, do not bring decisions that are politically ordered", a message on their Facebook page reads.
This will be a first larger gathering of CMDM since the one demanding June 5 elections when around 10,000 people gathered before Parliament.
Since then, elections were postponed and SDSM's pressure on the courts continued. It culminated last week when the Court issued a house detention measure against Bitola Mayor Vladimir Taleski.
The appellate court is supposed to decide Monday whether Taleski will placed under house arrest or whether he will be acquitted.
Aside from that, the 'Colorful Revolutionaries ' are also pressuring the Constitutional Court into declaring itself as having no jurisdiction over the Special Public Prosecutor's Office (SPO), since they fear that SPO might be suspended.
