
The current political situation in the Republic of Macedonia and the challenges the country faces were the topic of discussion at Thursday's meeting between the President of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski and Robert Benjamin, Regional Director of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) for Central and Eastern Europe .
Regional Director Benjamin, VMRO-DPMNE informed, reaffirmed the support NDI continuously gives to the political parties and institutions in the country, especially the Assembly.
The position of NDI in terms of specific issues facing the country, as Benjamin noted, is that the most sustainable are the authentic solutions arising from the relevant domestic factors.
The meeting welcomed the cooperation between VMRO-DPMNE and NDI with the conclusion of both sides that there is an opportunity for further enhancement.
NDI's Regional Director presented one of the projects that the institute will work on in the future, expressing the hope that, as before they will be beneficial to the political actors in the country.
