Macedonian Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev expressed gratitude to the outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski for his engagement in the Government of Macedonia wishing him success in the future.
“In addition to the political situation and the challenges it brings, the Government is completely committed to the implementation of the complex program that received an overwhelming public support in the previous elections. The main force of the program is its economic plan and the implementation of business policies that are producing quality results,” said Dimitriev noting that the Government was fully committed to implementing reforms to improve the living standards and to fulfill the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic agenda.
Zoran Stavreski, he added, with his personal and professional engagement on top posts in the Macedonian Government in the past ten years has left mark in the development of the Macedonian economy, introducing new standards and principles in national politics and implementing numerous reform processes in the country.
“The results achieved with regards to the economy are an example of a successful story in the economy and financial sector not only in Macedonia, but also in Europe and beyond,” Dimitriev stated. Presenting Stavreski’s successor Kiril Minovski, PhD, the incumbent director of the Public Revenue Office, PM Dimitriev said he was highly competent to take up the ‘highly important and accountable’ post considering his prolific experience in the field of finances, investments and human resources.
