A discussion is underway in Macedonian Parliament on the election of a new Finance Minister, who will take the position of Zoran Stavreski after his resignation.
At the beginning of the session, Parliament verified Stavreski's resignation and then Prime Minister Dimitriev suggested Kiril Minovski to be chief of the Finance Ministry.
"Minovski has occupied many work positions and he has worked for the World Bank as well, which only adds to his portfolio", PM Dimitriev said.
Before the actual vote, over 15 MPs asked to express their opinion in Parliament.
The suggested Finance Minister has extensive experience in the finance field, in project management and human resources.
