Borko Ristovski, the goalkeeper of the Macedonian national handball team and of German Rhein Neckar Löwen will join current European champion Barcelona in the next season. Ristovski will replace Daniel Saric, who is leaving the Catalan giant.
Spanish media report that Ristovski has signed a two year contract with Barcelona, following his excellent performance in the German league. Ristovski was also offered to extend his contract with Rhein Neckar, but he decided to leave for Barcelona, where he will join Macedonian team captain Kire Lazarov. This will be the third time Ristovski plays in the Spanish league, following his stints with Teucro and Algeciras.
