
Macedonian Railways are holding a press conference on Monday to inform on the economic fallout caused by the strikes at Thessaloniki Port, where most of Macedonia's imports and exports go through.
Strikes and the large migrant camp near the Gevgelija border crossing, have hampered trade for many companies. Macedonian Railways have train cars stuck in Thessaloniki and are in contact with the Greek Railways on ways how to move them across the border.
Workers at the ports in Athens and Thessaloniki are protesting against the decision of the Greek Government to sell them off in order to meet the European bailout requirements.
