Veles - the city of Kosta Solev Racin, poet and revolutionary, author of the poetry collection "White Dawn" tonight at 9:30 pm in front of the Memorial ossuary from NOV where Racin rests, will officially open the 53rd "Racin Meetings" in 2016.
At the ceremony there will be a performance of "Here I am", after which the newly established awards from last year will be presented: the award "Anthology of Pain" to Danica Ivanovska Lepojevic and the award "Write love in 140 characters" to Goran Lazevski.
Previously, flowers will be placed on Monuments of Racin in his honor, and the traditional 'Talk about Racin' will be held. The procession "A thousand candles for Racin" will be also held this year.
Late in the afternoon representatives of the event's organizing committee "Racin Meetings" and the guests and writers will plant young trees in "Racin forest" at the staircase leading to the Memorial ossuary of NOV.
Within the program on Thursday a traditional exhibition "Pottery meetings Veles" 2016 will be opened in the Art Gallery. This morning the mural "Lenka i Tutunoberacite", developed by students from "Koco Racin" gymnasium in Veles, was promoted at the so-called "Wall of Racin" under the town clock in Veles.
