Over 60.000 visitors are expected over the four day trumpet festival that begins next Monday.
Regional star Sasha Kovacevich will perform on Thursday at the St. Peter and Paul square, and the festival in this small Eastern Macedonian town will also feature Mile Kuzmanovski, Silvi Band, the Jumbo Agushevi orchestra, Bojan Ristic's orchestra from Serbia, Lovech from Bulgaria and many other performers.
"We are preparing all available hospitality facilities for the guests, and the square will traditionally put on offer barbecue and beer stands", says Elica Jovevska from the Pehcevo town hall. Best performer will win the golden trumpet prize.
The festival will also include presentation of traditional and organic foods native to the region.
