Stopanska Ban JSC Skopje has donated a children's educational traffic field at the Macedonia 2 park in Skopje, thus completing its campaign on safe traffic awareness dubbed 'Drive Straight, Drive Healthy'.
The bicycle field is a safe place where children can learn to drive a bike, roller skates, scooters, and to learn about traffic rules via the set signs. Of course, an additional entertainment will be provided by the toys and playgrounds deployed in the park.
Ecological materials were used during the construction of the bike trail, and special attention was put on preserving the flower and grass arrangements. Additionally, bank employees who signed in as volunteers, together with children from the nearby schools and kindergartens, have bestowed a personal mark to the trail by painting flowers and putting useful stickers.
In the behalf of Stopanska Bank, one of the managers, Milica Caparovska-Jovanovska, said:
"It's a rare opportunity to see one such public place beautified and transformed into a venue for recreation, fun and education of the youngest. We welcomed the shown trust and support provided by the City of Skopje during all these months and on this occasion, the only thing left for us to do is to hand over the cycling trail to the City of Skopje and all its residents.
We are proud of our team of employees who fully conceived the 'Drive Straight, Drive Healthy' initiative that it has successfully organized, and for realizing this donation in the end. Precisely such energy, inspiration and commitment, embedded in our team spirit and corporate culture, contribute to the success and the growth of Stopanska Bank and of course to the implementation of new projects and donations that we will share in future with the community".
