Internationally acclaimed opera singer, Blagoj Nacoski, organizes a concert Thursday evening at the Gopcevich Palace in Trieste, at which renowned Italian artists will perform a custom piece inspired by poems written by Macedonian author Nikola Madzirov.
Composer Angelo Inglese wrote "Seven Songs From Light and Dust", a musical piece inspired by seven poems written by Madzirov.
Singers Luigi Schifano and Rafael Feo and musicians Constantin Ciobanu and Giacomo Biagi are among the performers who will take part in the concert at the Gopcevich Palace.
This is a second musical piece by Inglese dedicated to Macedonia, with the first such concert held in 2011 to honor Ss. Cyril and Methodius in the Rome Pantheon.
"Seven Songs From Light and Dust" was already performed in 2014 in Genoa, at an evening dedicated to celebrating the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Italy.
Following the concert in Trieste, Nacoski is scheduled to speak at the Italian Parliament, as Macedonian Ambassador of Culture.
