Opposition supporters blocked the city of Skopje again on Wednesday. On a few intersections, activists of 'I Protest' are not allowing citizens, students and pupils to get to their desired destinations.
About twenty vehicles belonging to 'Colorful Revolution' members were parked on the intersections near former 'Treska', in Karpos 3 settlement, at the Church of St Clement of Ohrid, the Court Complex and the Red Cross.
The demonstrators angered the drivers, who got out of their cars in the hot weather and expressed their dissatisfaction verbally. Furthermore, the police tried to handle the situation calmly and reroute the traffic to other streets and boulevards.
The intersection blockade is a new type of opposition protest. It replaced the daily paintballing of state buildings and monuments.
