A new car bomb attack was carried out in southern Turkey, near the Syrian border. On Wednesday morning a car bomb exploded near the police headquarters of the Midyat district of the southeastern Turkish province of Mardin.
Local media report that at least 2 policemen died in the explosion, and that more than 20 people were injured.
Turkish agency Anadolu reported that many ambulances were sent to the incident site.
This attack comes after Tuesday's deadly attack of a police vehicle in Istanbul, in which 11 people died and 36 were injured.
