The leader of Greece's main opposition party New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis is calling for early elections, assessing that 'the price of new elections is smaller to pay than that of keeping the current left-wing government", 'News in' reports, according to BTA.
"The next government will have the last chance to put the country on the path of growth and development, Mitsotakis pointed out.
The New Democracy leader is against the eventual massive layoffs of administration workers, the two additional salaries decrease in order to save money, but he agrees with the change of the union law.
The experts warn that all of this is included in the new packet of measures, which should be arranged with the creditors in the fall.
In September, the current government will reach a new dead-end, Mitsotakis warned in an interview with Greek radio Sky, blaming the government choices for pushing the country into stagnation and bankruptcy.
