The world renowned label 'Wigmore Hall' has released a second recital recording from our famous pianist Simon Trpceski. Wigmore Hall, located in London, is the first concert hall for classical music in the world that has its own CD label. It has presented performances by the best world music stars through its program that features 400 events yearly and sells over 165,000 tickets.
On his newest CD issue, our piano virtuoso will present his live performance in Wigmore from July 19, 2014.
This exclusive label has described the Macedonian pianist with an appropriate text: "Simon Trpceski has established himself as one of the most remarkable musicians to have emerged in recent years, performing with many of the world’s greatest orchestras and captivating audiences worldwide. He performs a stunning program, recorded live at Wigmore Hall, opening with Brahms’s melancholic 3 'Intermezzi', "the cradle songs of my sufferings" as the composer once called them, a charming and varied selection showcases Trpceski’s sensitivity and delicate expression.
Ravel’s eclectic 'Valses et sentimentales', a dissonant and passionate chain of lilting dances, lie at the heart of this album. The performance concludes with the thrilling Toccata from Poulenc’s 'Trois pièces': a brilliant demonstration of Trpceski’s colorful and virtuosic playing."
According to Macedonian media, in a statement related to his latest musical edition, Trpcevski said that he has dedicated the CD to his mother due to the 'unique and unflagging energy which has served his family as a guide for overcoming all challenges of life.' In relation to the second edition of Wigmore Hall, he pointed out: 'It is an honor to record for them again, because they have a longstanding tradition of recording with many world artists. I hope that this will be another project which will strengthen our long-term collaboration.'
