NATO Day will be celebrated at the Army Hall in Skopje on Monday. At the celebration ceremony, Macedonia's Defense Minister Zoran Jolevski will hold a speech.
Within the framework of the event, organized by the Defense Ministry and Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia, NATO's history, values and goals will be presented, as well as the significance of the Euro-Atlantic integration for Macedonia.
NATO Day is an event which is traditionally celebrated in all member states of the Alliance, as well as in the partner countries. On this day, in 1949, 12 countries signed the agreement which established the North Atlantic Alliance in Washington.
