VMRO-DPMNE president, Nikola Gruevski, is to attend the events commemorating the 40th anniversary of the European People's Party establishment of the (EPP), the strongest political structure in Europe, on Monday in Luxembourg.
Together with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the European Union leader duo, Jean-Claude Juncker and Donald Tusk, the EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, and 50 other MEPs, as well as many more chiefs of states and governments led by the demo-Christian political wing in the Old Continent, Gruevski is to be a part of the grand event of the European political elite on Monday, on the invitation of the EPP.
VMRO-DPMNE, as the largest political party in the Macedonian Parliament, with an ideology right from the center, has been EPP's sister party and has been enjoying the support of the most numerous political party in the European Parliament for a long period of time.
According to the EPP's program, a meeting of the party's presidency and political assembly which Gruevski and MP Vladimir Gjorcev will attend, will be first held in Luxembourg. The official part of the commemoration will be held later in the evening, while a debate on the topic of "Europe's Future' will also take place. Merkel, Tusk, Juncker, Hahn, Orban, Mitsotakis and Gruevski will take part in the debate.
