Macedonia's Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and Italy's Ambassador in Skopje Ernesto Massimino Bellelli signed Friday an agreement on exchange and protection of classified information between the two countries.
At the signing ceremony Poposki and Bellelli expressed satisfaction with the friendly relations between the two countries, commending in particular their upward trend in the spheres of defense, security, culture, health care, education and regional cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
They also addressed the possibilities for bolstering the bilateral economic relations, particularly within the Berlin Process and in terms of providing support for infrastructure development along the Corridor 8, which links Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania and Italy, the press release reads.
