Leader of the Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA) Menduh Thaci met Friday in Skopje with Christian Danielsson, Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission and discussed the political developments in the country.
They also discussed the party's positions on finding a way out of this crisis.
Thaci said that VMRO-DPMNE and DUI which created the crisis are continuing to make unilateral and irresponsible decisions on issues which are part of the negotiations and for which main political parties should find consensus with mediation of US and EU, DPA said in a press release.
At the meeting he underlined that the only way out of this situation is continuation of real political dialogue with the international mediation, which requires a new approach and a strong political will by all sides.
Thaci also emphasized that the solution to the name issue and inter-ethnic relations, as well as fulfillment of the democratic conditions for organizing credible elections regardless of when they are to be held, remain key issues for DPA.
