Member of European Parliament Ivo Vajgl stated Friday that Macedonia can expect a period of complex reforms so it can organize fair, democratic and transparent elections and implement media reforms, which should mirror the state of society. What was decided is not permanent but rather a temporary decision, Vajgl said, adding that it can lead to good things and a possible party agreement if they remain dedicated to dialogue and if they implement the reforms which oblige cooperation.
"Complex reforms lay ahead in terms of organizing fair, democratic and transparent elections, media reforms, which should reflect society, not someone who stands outside the arena and only applauds a certain side. As a pragmatic politician I think it is always good to realize a process through agreement, compromise and joint decisions, but it is equally important to take into consideration the joint interest of the state and the citizens so it can influence future and present decisions", Vajgl stated for Radio Free Macedonia.
