Exhibits of Students' Artworks, Part of 'Art of Breaking Limits' Project to Kick off

Exhibition of artworks made by participants of the partnership project realized by the Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Young People, the Daycare Center for Children with Cerebral Palsy, Rajko Zinzifov and Avram Pisevski Primary Schools will be opened Thursday.

The project is supported by the Macedonian Montessori Association, whereas the show will be held at the Skopje­-based Faculty of Philosophy.

The 'Art of Breaking Limits' project supported by the #BuildingBridgesFund consisted of 7 art workshops focused on familiarizing the students with the work of some of the greatest artists such as Monet, Degas, Klimt, Matisse, Van Gogh, Picasso and Frida Kahlo.

After introducing each artist, the children create an artwork inspired by the artist.

The activities are developed and carried out by the local Montessori Association, which were presented within the project 'Heart and Soul of Inclusion' in Ljubljana as part of Erasmus+ project and was assessed as highly inclusive program.

The 'Art of Breaking Limits' project goal is to show parents, local government and the general public a positive example of overcoming differences and prejudices on different grounds.

The project is financed and supported by OSCE Mission to Macedonia within Building Bridges Fund which is a joint effort by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Swiss Embassy and the OSCE Mission to Skopje.
