Six persons were injured, including a six-year-old girl, in a traffic accident that occurred on Monday afternoon around 2:00 pm near Tetovo.
Police have informed the accident involved a Ford carrying Tetovo license plates, driven by 17-year-old person from Tetovo, and an Opel Vectra, driven by 34-year-old Z.B. from the village of Strimenica in the Tetovo region.
"In the traffic accident, the driver of the Opel Vectra and the co-driver, R.B. aged 38, suffered heavy injuries and after they had received medical treatment at the clinical hospital in Tetovo, they were transferred to one of the clinics in Skopje. A girl aged 6, who was driving in the same vehicle (a broken shoulder), also sustained serious injuries, but she remained at the Tetovo hospital for further treatment," police officials said.
Due to their injuries, three more people who drove in the same car were kept for treatment at the Tetovo hospital, aged 30, 32 and 37.
Police teams have carried out an inquiry on the scene of the accident.
