Flames have quickly destroyed a high-rise residential tower in the United Arab Emirates, Euronews reports.
The fire that has occurred in the Ajman emirate, is the latest in a series of similar such incidents.
No casualties have been immediately reported, whereas the cause of the blaze remains unknown for the time being.
Police posted video online showing burning debris falling from the tower of more than two dozen floors, as as police cordoned off roads leading to the site.
In the past three years, this is at least the fourth major skyscraper fire in the UAE.
Last New Year's Eve, a blaze took place in a hotel located in downtown Dubai. In February 2015, fire broke out at a 79-storey residential building also in Dubai. In November 2012, a 34-floor residential building in the same emirate was partly ransacked.
According to experts, in some of those cases, the speed at which the blazes spread may have been caused by flammable cladding on the buildings' decorative and insulation exteriors.
