A police officer from Tetovo was hit by a Ford Mondeo on Friday afternoon when he tried to pull over the car.
Driver J.K. aged 35 and resident of Tetovo first fled the scene of the incident, but was later caught and taken into custody.
The policeman was taken to the clinical hospital where doctors concluded he had sustained bodily injuries.
Measures are being taken to completely clear out the case.
