
A total of 630 migrants and refugees have left the Greek port city of Piraeus within the frameworks of the action for relocation of the migrants and clearing the port which was brimming with refugees.
The refugees, who were transported by bus, have been accommodated in temporary centers in Kyllini, Ioannina and Piraeus. There are currently 5,350 migrants at Piraeus.
On Friday morning, 27 migrants arrived at Piraeus from Lesbos and another 5 from other islands.
In the meantime, there were violent migrant clashes at Chios and the police was forced to use tear gas to disperse them.
The island's citizens are holding a protest Friday due to the migrant situation.
