Students researching biodiversity along the Drim river basin attended a week-long training in Struga, that closed on Friday. Dejan Panovski, national coordinator of the GEF Drim project said that students discussed the diversity, environmental ethnics and potential for sustainable development and water resource management.
Professors from Albania, where the Drim river is a major source of energy, attended the training, as did representatives of environmental organizations. Participants from other countries that share the river basin Kosovo, Montenegro and Greece, also participated in the training.
