Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management on Monday said that for the "Japan Aid" programme, the Minister Mihail Cvetkov formed a special commission immediately after taking office.
"Considering that it is an extensive material, given that the funds from the Japanese aid are implemented through several public calls starting from 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2008, an extended period of time is needed for collecting a valid documentation",it is said in a statement from the Ministry.
In the period from 2002 to 2004, at the time of SDSM Minister Slavko Petrov, it is said in the statement, there was a great abuse of power by signing agreements which contain only name and surname.
"Therefore the Commission has difficulty identifying the real beneficiaries of this aid. After completion of the work of the commission, we will have a full insight into the documentation", the Ministry informed.
