Belgian Court on Thursday approved the Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam to be extradited to France, according to the Belgian Federal Prosecutor's Office. Abdeslam lawyer said earlier that his client had expressed willingness to cooperate with the French authorities and that he would not appeal the extradition decision.
Prosecutors said that now Brussels and Paris will have to agree on how Abdeslam should be transferred from Belgium to France. After his arrest on March 18, Abdeslam answered some questions for the investigators, but after the attacks of March 22 he exercises his right to silence.
Investigators are convinced that the attacks in Paris and Brussels are committed by the same Islamist network.
