President of Macedonia follows the rule of law and was absolutely right when he said that many of the allegations are not based on legal elements and in the entire free world if you bring up illegal evidence, they will not be eligible to the court and basically he said it when he stated that all this evidence is actually obtained illegally and therefore he stopped the proceedings.
Therefore Ivanov has all my respect, Karl von Habsburg, the current president of the Pan-European Union of Austria and former MEP of the People's Party of Austria says in his appearance in the TV show "Voice of the People".
"A small group in Macedonia says that "we are not ready to win", and because of that they want to postpone the elections and I think that their position should not be followed. It should firmly be said that elections have to be held when the date is set and they should be prepared before and I'm sure all serious international observers would agree with that. Democracy is not a game that can be played by a group that says "elections will be held when we are sure we will win". This is not the way democracy is functioning. Democracy has real choices", von Habsburg says.
He added that Macedonia over the years has proved to be one of the first European countries that showed economic growth and to follow the right path.
"Political Developments have made the situation in Macedonia hard, which is further burdened by the refugee crisis. Macedonia as a state proved that it can maintain a stable economic growth and a very positive position in terms of the growth", head of Habsburg dynasty said.
He reiterates that the elections should be held, and those people and organizations who are seeking postponement of the elections should not be taken into account, as they already have been postponed once.
"As far as I can see and I am informed the elections are well prepared, so I think it is very important, if these conditions are in place, to proceed with the elections, we will see the result, and the result must be respected as it is normal in the civilized countries, such as Macedonia", von Habsburg said.
