Albanian parties DUI and DPA will not participate in elections on June 5, both parties confirmed for Dnevnik. But despite such positioning of the two Albanian parties and the position of Zoran Zaev to boycott the elections, the question remains whether the June 5 elections will be held which only VMRO-DPMNE of the four parties may participate, an option that the other three parties does not exclude.
On Friday continued the bilateral meetings of the parties with the international representatives for resolving the crisis, but there is no shift in the position of VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM.
So far only VMRO-DPMNE submitted lists of members of the polling boards, while the other parties of the Przino Agreement did not. The next deadline when will be definitely known whether there will be elections is May 11 until when the parliamentary lists should be submitted.
It remains unclear how to derive the postponement of the elections in a situation where the Parliament is dissolved.
