A new TV series for children is in the process of making, titled "True Stories", written and directed by Kuzman Kuzmanovski. The series will be filmed around 2.5 months, on several locations in Macedonia, and the studios of Macedonian National Televison.
This project is a coproduction of Auripigment and the Macedonian National Television, in cooperation with film school "Tintiri Mintiri".
The main acting crew are children aged 6 - 15, as well as actors Aleksandra Pavlova, Ilija Ilioski, Vanco Petrusevski, Vlado Dojcinovski, etc.
The series tells the story of a group of children who find an old, but very valuable book on an attic. The wise, true stories are the content of the book, and are inspired by the great Macedonian tradition.
"This project comes from, and is dedicate for children. I will be vain, and say that we are working with a great acting crew of children, who surprise me every day with their enthusiasm and talent. I am convinced that this is the real deal for the viewers. We want to teach and remind children and parents of the forgotten family values, that less and less find place in the upbringing, as a result of the dynamic way of life and many other reasons. The goal is not to criticize, rather to affirm. Affirm a healthy lifestyle, respect, love, cooperation, friendship. To remind ourselves what is most important in life. To remind ourselves that virtue pays off 100 times more if you expect nothing in return. This are the premises of the thousands of years old Macedonian tradition, which inspires us in all aspects of life, as well as the series," said Kuzman Kuzmanovski, author of the project.
Around 80 children, members of "Tintiri Mintiri" film school, participate in the project, who have been preparing for the challenge of "True Stories" for a year.
The production team includes Kuzman Kuzmanovski (writer, director), Kalina Kuzmanovska (producer), Kiril Shentevski (director of photography), Tanja Ribarska (montage), etc.
