The water in 3 Skopje fountains was dyed red on Wednesday night. One of the vandalized fountains is located in Skopje's downtown area, one in the Avtokomanda settlement and one in Vlae settlement.
The water of the fountain "Olympia' which is located on the square 'Kaprposh's Rebellion' near Skopje's Old Bazaar was dyed red during the night and this became very apparent to people on Thursday morning.
The red dye was poured into the water of two other fountains in Skopje, i.e. the fountain near the 'Philip II' monument in Avtokomanda settlement and the fountain at the 'Delfina' square in Vlae settlement.
This is a move part of the guerrilla actions, that have been taking place in Skopje, carried out by participants in the protests that are against President Ivanov's decision to abolish all politicians.
At the April 18 protest, the water of the fountain 'Warrior on a Horse', located on Macedonia square in Skopje, was dyed red. With the move, the demonstrators wanted to send a message that the water is red in honor of all the victims of the political regime.
