Belgian Parliament has adopted some law amendments, according to which it will be able to punish migrants, who illegally arrive at the country's ports, with sentences of up to 6-12 months in jail.
The legal amendments have been adopted due to fears that a lot of migrants from the camp in France's Calais will try to reach the UK through Belgium ports.
The sentences will be twice as large if the offence is repeated in a period of 5 years.
