John Alite was responsible for setting ablaze the New York Cathedral. He is a mobster with an Albanian background who has been living in the US for many years, Serbian media reveal.
Alite was born in 1962 and he is a part of the gang 'Bloody Albanian' from the Bronx. He has an extensive criminal record and he is known to have been involved in dealing of drugs and weapons.
What is interesting about him is the fact that he even managed to smuggle out semen from jail which his colleague made ready for the wife. His colleagues praised him with the phrase " Belgrade will burn like this as well'.
The reason for the fire is still unclear. It may be due to competitiveness between construction companies or because of the nature of relations between Albanians and Serb.
