The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini is set to visit Kosovo on Thursday.
Mogherini is scheduled to meet with the country's top officials and address the parliament.
The visit comes after Wednesday's proposal by the European Commission that EU governments lift visa requirements for travelers from Kosovo.
