The Interior Ministry informed that MKD 6,000 have been stolen from a church and a monastery in Stip over the past 2 days.
The police received a report that in the period between May 2 - 3, an unidentified person had violently opened the gate of the church of St. Ilija in the village Arugulica, Stip, and stole around MKD 5,000 from the icons.
The same day, another robbery of MKD 1,000 was reported from the monastery Holy Trinity in the Babi settlement in Stip.
The police is looking for the robbers.
