The Skopje-based French Institute, in cooperation with the Metamorphoses Association and the French region of Normandy, is organizing the second edition of the 'My Mini Video' contest.
This year, applicants are welcome to submit their projects on the topic of 'Freedom of Expression'. The call is open for all young people aged between 18 and 28 who speak either French of English and are interested in the area of multi media. All they need to have is a mobile phone equipped with a camera.
The most successful videos, which can run three minutes the mots, will be screened at the latest edition of the French Film Festival that will take place on June 15-18 this year. The winner of the contest will guest the Off-Court festival in Trouville, Normandy, and will also win preparatory classes of French language that are being held at the French Institute in Skopje.
Two preparatory workshops are to be held on May 12 and 13, whose aim is to select the candidates and give them instructions on writing film scripts, as well as technical and practical advice. Working languages are French, Macedonian, Albanian and English.
