A Skopje resident aged 26 has died in a car accident that occurred on Monday morning on the Bitola-Resen road.
According to police information, he lost control of his vehicle and went off the road. Five more people were driving inside his car.
The Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that around 6:30 am on Monday, a traffic accident took place on the Bitola-Resen road, in which, 26-year-old V.J. from Skopje who drove a Fiat Stilo carrying Gostivar license plates, lost control of the vehicle, hit the protective fences on both sides of the road and went off.
Due to the sustained injuries, V.J died on the spot, while the passengers, all in their early twenties, have suffered bodily injuries.
After they received medical treatment in Resen, the injured individuals were transferred to the clinical hospital in Bitola.
