Criminal Council of the Basic Court Skopje 1 revoked the decisions of the preliminary procedure judge and reversed the decision on the detention of 30 days for two more suspects in "Transporter" case.
Acting on complaints from the defense of the suspects S.M.and A.S.for which a judge of the preliminary procedure issued measure of detention, as well as the appeals of Special Public Prosecutor’s Office against the decisions of the judge of preliminary procedure by which for persons V.D. and A.A. rejected a proposal for detention and issued measures for preserving presence.
Criminal Council of the Basic Court Skopje 1 held a session in the presence of the defense and the prosecution where it decided that the complaints of the defense of the suspects S.M. and A.S. against the decision of a judge of the preliminary procedure for detention are accepted and the judge’s decision is altered so that measures are determined to ensure the presence or confiscation of the passport, obligation of the suspects to appear in court in Bitola, and ban for the suspects from leaving the permanent or temporary residence.
"Complaints of SPO against the decision of the judge of the preliminary procedure were rejected and it is confirmed the decision of the judge by which the persons V.D. and A.A. are issued measures for ensure the presence or confiscation of the passport, obligation of the suspects to appear in court in Bitola and ban of the suspects from leaving the permanent or temporary residence", the statement said.
