The Seavus software company and the Swedish Embassy in Macedonia promoted a program on Tuesday that aims to support electronic media.
The Dot Up Media Seavus incubator will encourage development of independent and investigative journalism, and will offer a package of economic and logistics benefits to digital media.
Biserka Koneska, leader of the Seavus Incubator, said that the program is driven by a desire to support independent journalism and freedom of expression, modeled along Swedish democratic principles.
Ambassador Mats Staffansson noted that Seavus is the largest Swedish investment in Macedonia and praised the role of digital media in promoting democracy.
