Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is paying a 2-day visit to Croatia, which will also include a major business forum.
Erdogan will meet with Croat leaders to discuss the migrant crisis, fight against terrorism and economic development.
Turkey also hopes to gain support from Croatia for its demand to get ahead on the European Union accession path, which is part of the agreement it reached with the EU over resolving the migrant crisis.
Bosnian representatives will also be in Zagreb for meetings, as part of the Turkish initiative to promote postwar reconciliation. The Bosniak majority sees its protector and supporter in Turkey.
