The lion statues located on the Goce Delcev bridge in Skopje were pelted with paint-filled balloons by the protesters who gathered in the bridge's vicinity. The protests are organized by several NGOs and associations, and they are supported by the opposition. The lion statues were targeted by the gathered people, who wanted to head across the bridge towards the Constitutional Court.

According to announcements, the protesters' plan was to pelt the building of the Constitutional Court with paint-filled balloons because this very Court is responsible for abolishing the politicians which were indicted.

However, the police managed to block the protesters at the onset of Goce Delcev bridge and prevent them from crossing it. After that, the bombardment of the lion statues with paint-filled balloons commenced.

After being halted at the bridge, the protesters decided to head towards the Government building. Their march, same as in previous days, started before the offices of the Special Public Prosecution. The number of protesters on Saturday was significantly smaller compared to previous protests, and beside the paint-balling of the buildings and monuments, there were no other public order disturbances.

The protesters are demanding the resignation of President Ivanov, and the inclusion of some independent civil society representatives that would take part in resolving the political crisis and their inclusion in the forming of a transitional government which will completely implement the urgent reform priorities  included in the Priebe report.
