Sixty-five-year-old Pavle G. from Skopje was the pedestrian who was run over on Friday morning on 'Metropolitan Teodosij Gologanov' boulevard in Macedonia's capital, the Sector of Internal Affairs from Skopje reported.
The acident occurred on Friday morning at about 10:00 am near the old 'Alumina' factory when a KIA car operated by S.I. (34) from Skopje, hit pedestrian Pavle G. from Skopje, who flew 20 meters in the air from the force of the impact and passed away straight away.
According to eyewitness reports, the man was crossing the road on the zebra when the car run him over. Tire tracks were not visible at the accident scene.
The Sector of Internal Affairs reported that the cause of the accident will be disclosed after the investigation is over.
