The supply of equipment for student dormitories, in terms of furniture, is in its last stage, said on Wednesday VMRO-DPMNE president, Nikola Gruevski.
"After this promise was made by the Government by the end of last year, the Education Ministry has taken all necessary measures for the supply. In this period, the market research phase has been completed, after which consent will be demanded by the Public Procurement Council. The Ministry expects its consent in the next 10 to 15 days, after which it will release the public call for the student dormitories furniture supplier," Gruevski said.
He reminded that by the end of last year, a promise has been made that the furniture will be completely replaced in all students' dormitories, which means, beds, closets, desks, chairs...
"The preparatory stage is near its end and by mid-April the public call should be released, to call the potential suppliers and by the end of the summer, the procurement should be completed and the entire new furniture should be in the state-run student dormitories, as we promised by the end of last year," Gruevski stated at the promotion of the books that are part of the 'Stars of World Literature' project.
