Macedonia is our country, Macedonia is our home, we are here to send a message that this country is all we have. We stand here against the destruction against all and black scenarios against the country. Our commitment and our choice is to protect our country with wisdom and patriotism. We must have elections on June 5. The elections are the essence of democracy. Those against the election, they are against the people. The people is the foundation of the Macedonian democracy, no deviation, no withdrawal, in Macedonia the people decide.
We ask for immediate cessation of all violence against police, each stroke on the police is an attack on our country. Any impact on our monuments is a blow to the citizens, on our history. We will not allow the blood shed in the Ilinden uprising of, the partisans, will not allow Macedonia to be humiliated. Put an end to terror. Macedonia will survive, long live the Republic of Macedonia.
These were some of the messages that the representatives of Civil Movement for Defense of Macedonia sent from the traditional gathering held before the Macedonian Assembly.
Part of the crowd tonight unfurled the Macedonian flag on the Porta Makedonija in response to the vandalism that took place on this monument by some of the participants in the protests.
