A massive citizen gathering organized by the Civil Movement for Defense of Macedonia will take place on Thursday night before the Parliament. Around 100,000 citizens are expected to show up, and they will clearly express their stance that elections on June 5 must be held.
After the gatherings in front of SDSM headquarters, as well as in cities across Macedonia, at 07:00 pm on Thursday before Parliament, the citizens will call for respecting the Constitution that requires the realization of elections.
"The line has been crossed. Many times. We stood silent and watched as they burned and destroyed everything. We tolerated and tolerated the situation while they destroyed and desecrated everything. Enough is enough. Next time they cross the line will be their last.
Those that are paid to do this are not even aware of what kind of scenario they are a part of. They took advantage of the fact that we are peaceful people, tolerant people that wishes no harm upon anyone.
The people have always cared, they care now and they will continue to care about this country. So it has been, and it so shall be in the future. Foreign vassals and frustrated individuals who cooperated with the enemies of Macedonia have always been present here, but they always ended up, with no exception, condemned by the people.
All of us are here to call attention to the need to end this chaos, destructive behavior and the annihilation of Macedonia. It is time the politicians who have no support from the people to stop hiding and face the people at elections. It is time for us to stop being hostages to some traitors and their senseless ideas which have made our lives hell for 2 years.
The people have tolerated this situation for a long time, but they have their limits. The line can be crossed once, but there is no turning back after that.
Either it is Macedonia or nothing at all. Come, let us defend it. Let us show both local traitors and those that found some Macedonians to bribe and command...that Macedonians live here. This is where heroes live. This is where defenders and rebels live. This is where proud people live, people who will not give up on this country. This is where Macedonians live. It is time for us to be seen", the call of the Civil Movement for Defense of Macedonia said.
