Macedonia's Business Confederation will promote the project: 'Tourism Is People - Let's Work Together for Strong Social Dialogue in Tourism'.
The main goal of the project is strengthening the capacities of the social partners in order to improve the social dialogue on national and European level.
The project is also expected to increase the awareness of employers and their employees about the importance of this process, in terms of increasing the employment rate and the competitiveness in the national economy.
The project focuses on the modernization of the labor market, improving the skills, qualifications and the quality of work, the safety on the work place, and the decent jobs in the tourism and catering industries sectors.
The promotional event will include a workshop that will be attended by trade union representatives, the Economy Ministry, the Labor and Social Policy Ministry, the Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism, professors with the tourism faculties, and others.
The Macedonian Business Confederation is one of the EU partners in the project: 'Tourism are people. Together, for strong social dialogue in the tourism and hospitality sector'.
The project's realization kicked off in February this year in Ljubljana, and the leader of the project is the Employers' Association of Slovenia, whereas, trade unions and other employers' organizations from Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia are also included in the project.
